Oh My Goodness I can not thank you enough. Everyone is raving about last night and was THRILLED. Your wait staff was amazing, the food was fabulous and the setting could not have been better. I have sent out the ‘save the date’ for our end of year party already!

Colin, Thanks to you and your staff. The food was excellent quality and a nice mixture. The service and environment were very pleasurable. Everyone enjoyed.
I can not begin to tell you what a great time we had at Estia’s. My brother-in-law is a regular customer to Estia’s, and would not let me come back to California until I ate there. My brother-in-law is always correct on good food, this time he out did he self.
Thank you Colin for organizing the party with me. JD was great… I loved your wait staff. (The petite latina lady was especially sweet). Even the cooks in the back were super friendly when I popped my head back there! My sister had a wonderful time…

Colin, I didn’t have an opportunity yesterday to tell you how much I like the 4 new paintings hanging in the Sag Harbor restaurant. I love that you support local artists and display original art in the restaurants.
Not only is the food always delicious but the restaurants are really reflective of your values and I think that’s a large part of why my family has loved eating there all these years. A multi-sensory experience when dining at Estia’s. See you in Darien.

Great little place with very fresh farm-to-table servings, prepared expertly. Everything, and it’s an eclectic menu, was excellent. Service was also professional and
I would add that Estia is not a children’s place in the evening, (lunch is kid friendly) primarily caters to adults who wish to leave their kids with sitters while they enjoy the company of their adult friends.

Very tasty and a great alternative to Ten Twenty. Much quieter. The service was great and the paella was delicious.
I had the Prefixe menu before 615p. Great portions too. I’d definitely return.

Estia’s is probably the best restaurant in Darien. We have visited a few times, once with another couple and a couple of times with our children. It is cozy and comfortable, with lovely art work. We love the turtle rolls, and the clam chowder has tons of clams. The chef, Colin Ambrose, does a wonderful job with all the dishes. The margaritas are a great way to start your meal. The fish tacos were excellent, as well as the scallops. Estia’s is a great place for families, couples, and a girls night out.
Estia’s has become a really great go-to for us since they opened. I was admittedly a little Bitter Betty about Ole Mole vacating the space, but the atmosphere and menu somehow retained enough of the laid-back feel and south-of-the-border deliciousness that it all felt familiar…..but better.
I’ve gone most often for brunch or lunch and can’t seem to order anything besides the chicken quesadilla and a bloody mary! So good! But I have branched out a few times – the Over Under Frittata and Hangar Steak Azteca are awesome- without regrets.
With the exception of a large group dinner at Estia’s with friends (adults only – wonderful!), I’ve always brought my daughter along without issue. The staff is more than accommodating and she loves the pancakes or sharing whatever is on the table. I think Estia’s is pretty kid friendly – if your kid is restaurant friendly ; )

A newish gem in Darien. Estia’s is amazing for any meal. You can taste the freshness of the food in every bite. Weekend brunch and lunch are more casual, community cafe vibe. Dinner is completely different, more of a Euro bistro feel. Mondays and Tuesday they run burger and/or taco specials, along with wine special. Ask for Angelica as she’s the sweetest waitress around, she’ll become your friend. Owner and Best Chef of America 2013 recipient Colin Ambrose can always be found here making sure things run smoothly and his patrons are happy. Ample parking and outdoor seating. Try Estia’s and you’ll probably become a regular, like we are.
